Please be aware that on the run-up to Christmas, there is greater pressure on postal services all around the world. Therefore, please be prepared for potential delays to your order during the months of November and December.
International orders placed before 31st October 2019 have the best chance of reaching you in time for Christmas.
UK orders placed before 15th December 2019 have the best chance of reaching you in time for Christmas.
The above dates are only guidelines to help you avoid delays! I will continue to process and ship all orders as they come in after those dates, regardless of the destination.
Delivery Services & Times
I will always strive to produce and ship your order within the specified production and preparation time which varies depending on the product. Most orders can be dispatched within 1-3 days except made-to-order Nintendo 3DS and Switch pouches, which can take 1-2 weeks.
UK: I use Royal Mail 1st Class for packages sent within the UK which is estimated to arrive within 1-3 days
Rest of the world: I use Royal Mail International Standard for sending overseas which is estimated to arrive within 5-7 days.
Please note that these services do NOT include tracking information as standard. I am working to add tracking services as a shipping upgrade. In the meantime, if you would like to use a service or upgrade not listed, please let me know before ordering.
Please be aware that no postal service is 100% reliable and parcels can sometimes get delayed, so I kindly ask for your patience and understanding if this occurs. While parcels normally arrive within the time stated above, I will allow the Post Office 10 days for UK delivery and up to six weeks for international delivery before resending or refunding an order.
Cancellations, Refunds and Exchanges
Please contact me here if you wish to cancel your order. I am sometimes able to dispatch orders within 24 hours so please let me know as soon as possible!
I do my very best to make sure my products are of the highest quality, but if you receive your order and it is faulty or not fit for purpose, please let me know within 14 days. I will be happy to offer a replacement or refund on return of the item.
The satisfaction of my customers is the most important thing to me. As I would never like to spend my hard-earned cash on a low-quality item, neither would I like my customers to receive one. If you have any queries, comments or complaints, please get in touch!
Since taking part in "Plastic Free July" in 2017, I've become more and more conscious of the effect that the mass consumption of single-use plastic is having on our limited natural resources, and the pollution that is building up and harming wildlife on land and in seas. Therefore, I am striving to make Emseeitch a more environmentally-friendly small business.
For the past year, I have been phasing out plastic packaging on all Emseeitch products and swapping for compostable or recyclable alternatives. For instance, I've ditched zip-lock bags in favour of recyclable kraft boxes for phone cases, and I've sourced display bags made from compostable cellulose instead of plastic, for greetings cards!
I also keep plastic to a minimum when posting online orders: I use card envelopes, tissue paper and boxes instead of bubble wrap and bubble wrap-lined envelopes, and encourage reuse and recycling where possible.
There is still some way to go - Emseeitch is not yet 100% plastic-free and there might be a few products in the range that were packaged using plastic before the switch, but I think that it's best to get as much use as possible out of the packaging before it goes to landfill. Please do feel free to ask me if you are unsure how to responsibly dispose of the packaging from any of my products.
